  Great list!

  My approach is similar to yours as in I do not have any structured design training, although I do have Web Development training. So, I try to read what I can and expand my knowledge through practice and reading. I especially like to development feeds. Nice job.

  Nice (and huge) list. There are some on there I will definitely be keeping up with. One thing that would be nice, though, is if you could also link to the actual site whose feed is listed. I would like to go check out the site, too, and I’m sure the author’s could use the link love.

  At one time I had a lot of these, but many of them have started churning out lists much like this one. Top 25 whatever, top 15 blah blah blah. Great for traffic, horrible for a resource. I have an addiction, where I have to read a feed if there is new article on it. I got pretty tired of all the junk that was being churned out by many of these sites as often as 5 times a day, so I ditched all but probably 5-10 feeds and have found that my productivity has increased 10 fold.

  @Markom: yep, you should be able to import that file into your feed reader (google reader, netvibes, etc… for as long as it supports importing OPML files you should be ok) :)

  @All: I’ve updated the list and the OPML file again to add a couple new ones (we’re at over 170 now I think)! Thanks for all the suggestions!

  Jon, thanks, but SharpReader just crashed when I tried to import this xml file, had to reinstall it. It supports
  opml, thats how I backup my RSS feeds, but not xml.

  So when I import the list, nothing happends.The list is there, but no articles, nothing. If I go to Update feeds – nothing

  @Markom: hum, I’m not exactly sure why the feed readers you’ve tried didn’t work/crashed, I tried it in Netvibes, Google Reader and a couple other web based readers and it worked fine, I also tried it in Event Box and Shrook and it worked like a charm. Have you tried importing the OPML file in a web-based reader and then exporting it from there as OPML and then re-importing it into your desktop feed reader?
