30 Beautiful Single Page Website Designs

With all the content-heavy and CMS-powered websites out there these days, I find it refreshing to browse a single-page website where all the content is accessible without loading or refreshing a page.

The sites in this post make great use of things like sliders, carousels, Ajax and auto-scroll scripts to display content in a way that doesn’t hinder the user experience but rather improves it. I hope you enjoy this showcase, and of course feel free to chime in and leave a comment at the end of the post.

I definitely think that these types of sites will become a big thing again. I find it’s easier to be more creative with a single page and do some interesting things, instead of getting bogged down with a CMS. Also I’ve found that my site loads faster without all the extra baggage, so that might help with SEO. If you think it’s a good additional to this page maybe you can consider adding my single page website, http://garth.ky Thanks!

Great collection. Good stuff. We are currently building a little app that makes it super easy and quick to build one page websites. There not as slick as these but we’re working on new themes. It’s called PregoApp (www.pregoapp.com) and powers sites like http://www.mansfieldgallery.co.nz and http://www.lucidcards.co.nz. Can’t wait for the day some of the Prego sites are featured on collections like this!

Thank you for those inspirations. The styles are reat and they confirm me in my approach to build own designs and get away from CMS.

Those are definitely cool, and it does show what is possible with Web design these days. I wonder what would happen if a visitor disable scripting, such as using the NoScript extension in Firefox, on these designs. Would they still work as well?

There aren’t so many of these anymore. But I will say that I loooove single page designs! Our media website went this way and it makes sharing information simple. All contact details, external profiles, blog posts/tweets, and other links can be shared without re-loading the page.

I agree with Garth. I think we’ll see these types of sites become popular again in the future. They’re ideal for portfolios and can be decked out with enhancing features to make the user buzz. In some cases, they’re almost more about the user-experience than the content itself.

http://starkerstheme.com/ is another one-pager that would fit nicely into your collection.

Some nice examples here, although I’m still in two minds about whether 1 page websites are a case of prioritizing style over usability.

If people are interested in one page websites you might want to Google “One page Love”, which is a website dedicated to showcasing one page websites.

Currently we are living in a mobile friendly world annd the desktops are slowly getting replaced by the more effective andd appealing smartphones and tablets.
Ecommerce Shopping cart software is one of the most important features that
your e-commerce website needs to have because you will need this to process alll your money transactions
for practical purposes. Every reputed business requires an experienced
and professional graphic designer to design a perfect web site.
