About Jon And Spyre Studios
Hey, hello and welcome to Spyre Studios! Please make yourself at home, grab a nice cup of coffee (or green tea) and enjoy your stay! Also, feel free to contact us anytime via our contact form.
My name’s Jon, I’m the lead designer and founder of SpyreStudios. (yup, me on the right →)
So what is Spyre Studios?
We’re a small design agency located in Montreal, Canada.
We offer web-design services and also collaborate with other designers, bloggers and social media strategist on various projects. We are also WordPress Consultants and offer consultation services to designers, ‘WordPressers’ and online publishers. Get in touch with us to get an idea of our rates and packages (per project and hourly).
Here’s what some of our clients think (they’re cool, love them!):
Steve Lawrence, Neostead
Jon has been a sheer joy to work with. Missing from his repertoire of replies to our many requests for changes, additions and modifications was there ever a single hint of frustration or loss of patience. His attitude was equally as enthusiastic and positive after a myriad of change requests as it was the day we considered him for the job.
I am thrilled to no end to have made Jon’s acquaintance and to have had the opportunity to work with such a seasoned professional and gentleman. What’s more, I find it quite worthy of note that I have taken the time to write my recommendation. After years in this business and countless other designers, this is a first time I’ve felt compelled enough to offer this highest form of accolade to a colleague. But again… I’ve never met anyone like Jon, either.
Christine O’Kelly, Self Made Chick
“After Jon worked his magic, I saw my blog stats improve dramatically. My RSS subscribers count jumped from 144 to 316 within 6 days – wow! Jon (lead designer, consultant) is one of the most positive and energetic person I have ever worked with. He has wonderful ideas, has a keen understanding of blogging and social media, and truly takes pride in the work that he does.”
Shaun Boyd, Life Reboot
“Jon’s attitude was incredible. While every other designer played the “I’m busy” card, Jon was willing to consider my project regardless of how many other things were crowding his plate. His willingness to help made an outstanding first impression on me.
As I eventually learned, Jon’s introductory message was only a preview of things to come. Throughout the project, Jon repeatedly impressed me with his professionalism. During our correspondence he was patient, understanding, and courteous. During the redesign phase, he willingly experimented with design details to determine what I liked and disliked….”
This was only an short excerpt of Shaun’s recommendation letter, you can read it all here.
Jon has also been interviewed on many occasions:
Ryan Caldwell, Performancing – Interview With Jon Phillips
“Jon Phillips is one of those guys who it pays to know. He’s smart, and keeps his eye on the ball. In the world of social media marketing Jon Phillips is one of those guys who just gets the job done; and you can’t help but admire his work ethic. Smooth, efficient and a great marketer/networker.
I’ve gotta say that there are few others online that I envy in terms of work efficiency and productivity. If you don’t know him from SmartWealthyRich (a site that he has now sold) or his current site FreelanceFolder, then you are definitely missing out.”
