Thanks for this list I will definitely check some of them out. I have another recommendation, though which is Leslie Cabarga’s “Logo Font & Lettering Bible” (a comprehensive guide to the design, construction and usage of alphabets and symbols). Really great stuff.f

@Darren: Well I would say it depends what level of experience you have, but for beginners and more advanced folks I’d recommend Web Standards Solutions by Dan Cederholm and The Art and Science of CSS from SitePoint as they both deal with CSS and developing websites, both great starting points :)

Okay so I was looking at this list hoping for a good CSS book but so many cover the topic. Since you’re recommending them, which do you think is best at covering the creation of CSS with some decent focus on making your page cross browser compatible?
