More and more digital designers have made the switch over to Sketch by Bohemian Coding. This is a newer program made only for Mac OS X which behaves much like Photoshop and Illustrator combined. You can work with vector graphics, pixel graphics, photos, icons, really anything you’d desire. The GUI is a little different but it provides many of the same features.
This gallery includes some exceptional Sketch tutorials for anyone thinking about making the switch. Web design isn’t just limited to pixel graphics – you can even build website mockups using Illustrator with fantastic results. But Sketch is a whole lot cheaper than Adobe’s products and offers very similar tools for designers. Take a look over these tutorials and see if Sketch 3 is a program you might want to try.
