I am so amazed by people like this. A person can learn SEO and internet marketing in general, but I think you have to be born with it to create sites that look like this.

so many beautiful portfolios, so little time! so have picked my very best favourites of my favourites -Juan Diego Velasco, Giancarlo Fajardo, the Design Hippy and Ximena Ruiz -beautiful, just beautiful! I especially like the notepad style of Ruiz’s. This is a particular trend that i’m also in love with, and can’t wait to find some time to re-work my own site to have a related sort of them (though I may go with a journal scan feel).

    well done!

  36. Theresa Maynard says

    June 27, 2009 at 8:56 pm

Nice grouping! Some were so “cluttered” that I did not know where to look, or what the main focus was. My fav’s are Daniel Gutiérrez, Branded 07, Studio Bennett, Studio 7 Designs. Nice work.

  61. Manal Assaad says

    November 22, 2009 at 2:58 pm

Some of those designs are really awesome. It’s amazing to see what creative people can come up with. However, most of those websites are for graphic and web designers, so it is only natural that they would have impressive designs to showcase their portfolio especially if they were professional. What I’m wondering is how can a person in marketing (like me), who is not involved in designing, showcase a portfolio that doesn’t even have pictures, videos or anything that entertaining!

    Hi Manal,
You don’t need a “gallery” portfolio to have a stunning website.
The easy answer to your query is this: Hire a graphic designer. A great designer can make your website sing and your marketing service shine. A creative designer can make any service visually stunning. Best of luck!
