UPrinting PostcardsHey everyone! The cool folks at UPrinting.com got in touch with me asking if I’d be interested in giving away 500 postcards to 3 lucky readers of SpyreStudios.

Of course I said yes! :)

Here’s The Deal

Here’s how you can enter for a chance to win 500 postcards from UPrinting:

  • Leave a comment on this post and tell us how you would creatively use your 500 postcards
  • Write a post on your blog linking to this post and linking back to www.uprinting.com

You can double your chances of winning if you do both!

I will use a random number generator to chose the 3 winners. The deadline is May 30th 2009 at midnight (GMT). Winners will be announced shortly after.

Please make sure you leave your real name and a valid email address when you leave your comment (remember you have to tell us how you would creatively use your postcards – get those creative juices flowing! You can even link to your Flickr page for some examples of what you’d do with them. Of course you could always use their premade templates, but where’s the fun? Chances are if you’re reading this you’re a designer. Right? So what would you do with 500 postcards? :)

And if you write a blog post about the giveaway, make sure you email me the link to your post via my contact form. ;)

Shipping Of Prizes

Shipping is free if you’re in the US or Canada and the winners get the 500 postcards and shipping free of charge. If you’re outside of the US or Canada, you get the free postcards but you gotta pay for shipping (shipping price may vary depending on your location).

    Hello,

I am a young designer who is trying to innovate in some things here in the area where I live.
I loved receiving these 500 cards, to apply some ideas I have in mind.
    Can view some here: http://www.ana-martelo.com/galeria/index.php?list=6.
Is just updated, but I can see my style of work.

Would also take to disseminate my work and try to win the most customers possible.

After taking time off to make sure my special needs child and family were taken of (still doing that of course) I am getting back to my dream of playing live music again. I will use these to create a viral campaign to create buzz for my new band, Hell Camino.

I’d use them for promotional inserts for my new tshirt company. I could really use them! Keep up the good work.

I work with “troubled” youth. I would send these cards to the youth that I haven’t seen around in a while.

The post cards would be perfect as follow ups to those people we meet at conferences, we are constantly asked for product info when presenting, even when we are not doing a vendor presentation. We could also do targeted mailing to other colleges in the area where we are doing a training/install.

I would love to create something adorable as a thank you card type postcard. It would be like stationery, but I would save money on postage!

@All: thanks a lot for entering the contest! Good luck to you all! :)

I would use them to create birth announcement postcards. My baby is due next month and we just moved away from all our family and friends so sending a photo announcement would be perfect!

Giant business cards is only one of my impractical ideas. Making fake vacation postcards and going on a fake vacation, mailing them to people who think I need a vacation. I would be supporting our Postal Service at a time when it needs all the business it can get. If I win, I will send you one. Promise.

I would use them to print examples of my portfolio on. Easy to hand out. More space than a business card. The more advertising you can give away, the better.
