Very inspirational. I know textures are one of the trends to watch out for this year and will be involved in a lot of the designs we see this year. We have introduced textures into our website but too heavy. Bookmarked as a resource, cheers.

Very nice examples, Mike. Seems everyone found the right amount of textures without overdoing it.

Awesome list! I love the use of textures. However, I have to be honest and say that I really need to stop looking at these lists. I get so many new ideas and not enough time to implement them.

Seriously though, great round-up. The sites featured are really top notch.

Really nice roundup of textures! I’ve actually been collecting textures while studying abroad in Italy this past year for this very reason. They can really make a design stand out. If anyone is interested, you can download them free here and use in your future designs! http://www.coryetzkorn.com/textures-of-italy/

Some lovely web designs there. But as always, content is king! :) So in an ideal world, a website will have a nice design like those and lots of engaging content.
