As some of you may already know, I launched Freelance Folder about a year and a half ago and also wrote a whole bunch of articles about freelancing, business, branding, design, etc…. Then last summer I transfered ownership of Freelance Folder to my good buddy Mason Hipp!
Since then, Mason has been working very hard on improving both the content and the look and feel of the blog. I know Mason has some big plans for Freelance Folder, but one of the things I was really looking forward to was the launch of The Unlimited Freelancer eBook which is now on sale through e-junkie for $29.
Who Wrote It?
The eBook was written by Mason Hipp (Small Fuel Marketing and Freelance Folder) and James Chartrand (Men With Pens) and it contains 200 pages of freelancing advice, tips, tricks and tools to help us freelancers maximize their income, free up some time and run a better business. (I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mason and James on various projects in the past and they know what they’re doing!)
Here are some of the topics covered in ‘The Unlimited Freelancer‘:
- Creating a freelance job vs. creating a freelance business
- Using systems to improve your business and save time
- Outsourcing, cross-sourcing, and partnering with other freelancers
- How to build a scalable team that is distributed around the world
- Turning your talents inward to create assets that make you money
If you’re a freelancer (designer, writer, programmer, blogger, photographer, etc…) I’m sure you’ll love this book! I’ve had the chance the read a review copy Mason sent me and read the whole thing in one sitting! You can go grab a copy here for $29! Enjoy! :)

That’s really cool Congratulations to the Freelance Folder team! I will probably buy the book soon.
Hey Jon,
Thanks for the compliments! I poured a ton of what I know into this book, so I’m pretty proud of it – and I’m glad to be able to help other freelancers make more money, too!
@Chris: Cool! I’m sure you’ll love it! (I did!)
@James: It shows man! I read the whole thing in one sitting! Loved the sections about project management and building a team! Awesome stuff! :)
Hey Jon,
I’m really glad you liked it! Seeing as you’re the founder of FreelanceFolder, I wouldn’t have wanted to disappoint :-)
Writing this was definitely a huge effort, but I really wanted to get some of this information out there. At the end of the day, I’m really really happy with what we launched.

Great job! Next step is to buy the book! Thank you for your hard work!
