Top Notch WooCommerce Themes For E-Commerce Sites

September 3, 2014 by Craig Shaw

A lot of people do their shopping online nowadays. It’s faster and more comfortable to buy stuff without having to leave your house. Besides, the internet presents a lot more options than your average shop around the corner.

In fact, there are so many websites to choose from, that only the best-looking ones get noticed. And that depends on you and on how well you choose your theme. I’ve singled out 15 WooCommerce themes that are easy to work with, and which guarantee that your client will end up with an attractive web store.

Bi-Shop

My absolute favorite is Bi-Shop. You’ll notice right away that it takes very little effort from your part to bend this theme to your will, because it’s so easy to get the hang of it in the first place. And you can use it quite literally for any type of store.

Make no mistake; this is an all-in-one theme all the way. Bi-Shop is rich with plugins and widgets, not to mention that it’s fully integrated with BuddyPress and BBPress. You can use unlimited Parallax and an exclusive set of Sliders. But the main attraction consists of the demo importer and the visual composer, which you can actually employ to craft as many responsive layouts as your heart desires, and base your creations on any of the 8 skins and 8 different graphic styles. If you come to think about it, the sky’s the limit.

Labomba

Labomba theme is chic and trendy. Its visual composer has drag-and-drop functionality, and you’ll realize that it’s very easy to customize. There are 21 different home page layouts to choose from, 4 different headers, 3 layered Parallax, and unlimited colors. Either way, you’ll come up with a dashing website for your client.

Legenda

Legenda is incredibly flexible. Just watch the tutorial videos, and you’ll se how easy it would be to enlist it for anything, starting from car stores and gaming stores, and ending with underwear stores. This theme is compatible with WPML, so you won’t have any issue translating the website in any foreign language your client may be speaking.

Shopsy

I was taken with Shopsy the moment I set my eyes on it. In all honesty, I wonder how anyone could fail to notice that it’s downright charming. If I seem over the top because of it, you can imagine the effect it will have on the people who visit websites made with this theme. Shopsy is built on Bootstrap 3.0, and offers glorious animations that designers can use to their advantage. Users can drag-and-drop their way through any number of page-blocks and templates. What is more, a huge amount of built-in icons is also at your service via Font-Awesome 4.

Flatshop

Flatshop is an astute Parallax WooCommerce theme that will make any potential client stop dead in their tracks when they’re shopping online. It’s such a gorgeous sight. Besides, most people try to get as much information about a product before they decide to buy it. Flatshop is complete with a product lightbox and AJAX technology that helps them see all the available details pertaining to a product, and add it to their cart without wasting time while the page is loading. You’ll love working with modules on the drag-and-drop page builder that lets you preview everything before you make a move.

Lighting Store

Behold Lighting Store from Template Monster, a theme whose modern design is suffused with homeliness. It would make a fine choice for websites that sell lighting equipment for apartments. The installation takes two steps, and you are at liberty to customize typography using any of the well over 600 Google fonts.

If you wish to cough up just half the price for Lighting Store, you may want to really pay attention to this: simply add this theme to your cart, and then all you have to do is to insert coupon code WOO at checkout, and you’ve got it. If that’s not a handsome deal, I don’t know what is. This discount is only available until the 22nd of September.

Munditia

There is much to be said about Munditia. First off, it’s meant for clothing stores, but can accommodate virtually any sort of shop. The vast majority of online consumers like to believe that they know the product they’re buying, down to the last detail, and that’s why Zooming in is highly relevant. AJAX loading is useful for instant acquisitions, yet the Wishlist is also important, because visitors may return to the site and close a deal later. Designers can use the Admin Panel to turn on or turn off these features.

Watches

Website themes from Crocoblock are such a steal. Keep that in mind, the next time you’re after themes for WooCommerce. You’d be paying $55 in exchange for 91 templates, meaning that each template is priced at $0.6. Imagine that!

The Watches theme banks on precision and attention to detail. It is based on the Cherry Framework and is regularly updated. As bonus, you can also go wild with the stock photos included in this theme, while you are building your client’s online store.

SoCute

SoCute is a great theme no matter how you look at it. It has an impressive minimalist design that can be easily applied to a great variety of online stores, whether they sell candy, or clothes. You should check out the live demo, or start a free trial, and you will notice right from the start that SoCute invites you to choose one of the countless layout options, and in this way you can have an endless number of WooCommerce website designs.

Seasons

In terms of design, Seasons goes straight and to the point. This theme is based on Bootstrap 3, and responsive to all sorts of devices and gadgets, especially Retina displays. Use the Admin Panel to switch between boxed or wide versions, and take your pick from 8 different premium skins to customize as you may please.

ClickBoutique

You can always use ClickBoutique for fashion stores and similar businesses. With this theme, it’s possible to add great features like Parallax banner and multistep checkout. Product zooming and product flipping are also useful, as visitors are able to see items from all angles, and take in all the details concerning those products, before they decide to buy.

Papirus

Papirus would be a proper theme for book stores and school shops, but of course, the possibilities stretch as far as your imagination can travel. You may wish to settle with a homepage template, or use the Visual Composer to drag-and-drop each and every element, and so make a homepage according to your taste.

Willowpillow

Willowpillow is perfect for online shops that sell interior design merchandise. It’s highly responsive, as well as Bootstrap-built. This theme is made with SEO-optimized, HTML5 and CSS3 code. The user has a live customizer at her/his disposal, so it’s a breeze to try and change anything and see what it would look like.

Saria

Saria Shop breathes new life into the concept of flat design. Who said flat has to be simplistic? Choose this theme and knock yourself out creating responsive websites for restaurants, medical equipment, and whatnot. All professional files are included in the package, just in case you want to customize Saria’s PSD, LESS, and HTML.

Sellegance

I have to summon one more theme that deserves attention. Sellegance is beautiful and besides, it’s easy to grasp its functionality. You can give shape to some fantastic websites for your retailer clients, and in the process set multicolumn menus, using colorful tags and images. The built-in quick view feature allows customers to inspect product details and make up their mind fast.

All in all, it is safe to state that any website built using one of the above-mentioned themes will turn out to be easy and fun to design. As long as you choose wisely for each occasion, your client is going to be more than happy with the end result.
